Save A Lot

Need to update (change) my review from 5 to 3 stars. Ever since Save a Lot changed owners about one to two months ago, I've stopped going there to shop. The price increases are so dramatic that it's no longer worth making a special trip there for certain items. I used to save a good amount of money going there for those items biweekly. Not no more. I'm sure others are just as shocked as I am in the significant price increases. BACK TO SHOPRITE FOR MOST OF MY FOOD SHOPPING NEEDS!! Sorry Save... Not A Lot.... nor a Little....No More!!

Always clean, and employees are always hospitable and helpful. I've never experienced or witnessed any employees get ignorant with any of the customers there. With some of the customers that pass through, it's surprising that they haven't lost their cool.. lol

Great prices and it's the only place where you can get beef ribs. My dogs love them.

Fair prices not so friendly people

I shopped there a few times, I think that their produce is horrible, it's what you'd expect to find on a third world road side from a homegrown gardener, it's just not edible they don't carry things like Pepsi or Coke.. their meats are good priced though. I would go there for my meats, I didn't see a lot of name brand items but thank God for them because their prices are better than most supermarkets it's a nice place, they also have a drugstore in this little mall and a liquor store and a dollar store of some kind. Sometimes however, and this is the downside, some life in general, you get a lot of the food stamp crowd which aren't always the most upstanding, honest, civilized group of people in the world some are but many are not.
