Samuel Fuller School

Samuel Fuller Classical Christian School has been a blessing to me and my family in countless ways. My children are getting a wonderful classical education rooted in the word of God, and they truly love learning what is true, good and beautiful. We love SFS!

Both of my children attended SFS through 8th grade. I’m very grateful that we were able to benefit as a family from this school. I feel that my kids are well-prepared for the world, and SFS has played an important role in their preparation.

Now do not get me wrong, the school has a great education but it has not handled some matters well at all. pros: great community, education is great, rooted firmly in Christ. Cons: It might rely too much on Christ. It says that a high school is on God’s Will but it has not happened. It stresses too much on trying to form a high school but it might never form or be successful. 2. Unbelievably cheap/horrible budget. The school forces you to give common supplies, always trying to make you donate money, and it’s building is in a church’s other building. Promises new building and high school years ago, not happening. 3. Misleading. The pictures of students in the high school are graduates who go to Middleboro. or a private functioning high school. For an open house for the “high school”, they moved some desks into a room, and raised them up. (a family whose son went to SFS wanted to send their son to high school and were on a high school board turned and sent their son elsewhere.) 4. High school has left a mark on church. The church let them build the school but now problems have erupted. SFS has several meetings about the high school, and kicked out a preschool just to have more classrooms. Now the preschool is CLOSED. 5. Needs more extracurricular events. Students are forced to do a christmas pageant and spring play and have one club every other month. It will never have sports, but more clubs.nnParents: If you want a good education to send your child, great school. But don’t send your kid to the high school that might become real because children need to open up. (Homeschooling could work for you since most books are homeschooled.)
