Million's Crab Boiled Seafood - St Matthews

Thought this place was amazing! The seafood bread is out of this world, seriously one of my favorite parts. We received so much food that we had a whole meal for at home. The million crab sauce is fantastic! Had never been to a self service restaurant but love the concept and love an authentic seafood restaurant that lets you make a mess. Best part is the kids can draw on the table!

It should be common knowledge that people are inclined to review after a negative experience. I don’t think it was the best experience, but there was a lot to like, and I’m sure the negatives will be addressed soon as the place grows and gets set up properly. I loved the food. The crab legs for the most part, I could just snap with my hands and easily pull the meat out and it was good. The downside to that is- they gutted out the cluster. I really don’t appreciate that. I won’t harp on it too much, but initially it was a big deal to me. The lobster Mac n cheese was pretty good. It was kinda like broiled chic fil a Mac with tasty lobster pieces on top. A decent amount of pieces indeed, but not throughout the mac. What surprised me more than anything was the lack of a drink menu. We just declined to order drinks altogether from there, so I can’t say anything about the bar. No one ever refilled our drinks, but by the time we were truly ready for refills, we figured since she had a sweet tea and I had a Mountain Dew, we didn’t really need to double up on that anyway. I’m sure this would not have worked for many other people, but we cut slack. I admit I only tipped 10%, but I’ll come back in a few months when everything will probably be running better. I know they will. I still give 4 stars because the food is good.

Terrible. Food was not fresh. 4 tiny crab balls the size of gum balls stuffed in tiny iron skillet over corn salsa.$15. Fried oysters that tasted like they were from a can. If you didn't want the ever over used French fries you had little to choose from. Had tiny side salad in a tiny wood jewelry box. No dressing choices.. Everything in plastic squeeze packets. Needs much much improvement. The crab balls were very fishy tasting. English was not well understood. Never again

Went and purchased king crab legs. Once I got them I was under the impression that they came with sides but I was wrong. Got home and started to open legs. The legs were almost hollow with little meat inside. One of the legs had a hole size of a quarter in it so you could visually see the absent meat inside. Some of the crab legs were warm and others room temp. Spent over 100 and won’t go back and or recommend it to any one at this time. I should have known since the restaurant was empty when I picked up my Togo order but I figured I would give them a shot.

This is one of our favorite places to come for a date night! The staff are usually very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate my gluten allergy. There are some sauces that are not gluten free and it’s important that this information is communicated in a clear way. The food is delicious and beats any other place I’ve tried seafood boils before. Keep up the good work and we will keep coming back.
