Crab came ASAP! Still frozen and can't wait to have some. I will say this is my third experience with ordering their crab. 1st time was so packaged so beautifully I didn't want to eat it. It was amazing. Second time, very disappointing, lots of bits and pieces. This time I only ordered 10 pounds and it looks good. Not really packaged great again, looks like FED EX may have been a little over zealous with the package but I am sure it will eat!

The Dungeness crab shipment arrived on time and still well chilled. I divided the contents into three two-gallon plastic bags and put them in the freezer. Later, I boiled plain water on the stove (the crab is already salty enough for my taste) and warmed four crab halves for about 5-6 minutes. Very easy to crack and pick. Half the meat went into a sumptuous crab bisque, the other half went in the fridge. The refrigerated crab lasted five days and still tasted great at the end. A quality product. Recommended.

Having ordered Dungeness Crab for many years, I did so again this year and am sad to say that this year's delivery was a disappointment. Not only was the overnight delivery late by a day, the contents were partially defrosted and extremely broken up. Clusters were also much smaller than in prior years. There were many small pieces and shells which I have never experienced before. The bottom of the box was soaked. I remember the days several years ago when the package contents were almost like an art form, the clusters beautifully arranged, compact and intact. I'm hopeful that the crab will be as delicious as usual but the delivery process was definitely not up to expectations based on other years. Attached are photos showing the broken pieces, pieces in slush and the wet bottom of the box.n***As an addendum, shortly after the delivery of the crab, I received a call from the wonderful ladies at Experience and we had a conversation about the delivery. I must give them much praise for the way my issue was handled and the way they resolved the problems with the delivery. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

Delivery was a little, shall we say, not so good. This could be due to FedEx's way of keeping the refrigerated parcels cold. Though still frozen they had begun to thaw a little. Box was wet. Just saying.nBUT!!nThey were absolutely delicious!!!! We cooked some up that night and froze the rest for later deliciousness!!! We will order again next year! I do believe this has become a Christmas tradition for us! Thank you for the yummies!!!
