Sisters Depot

We planned this visit to listen to live music on their back patio, which was nice. Imagine it will be nicer once warmer weather is here and trees are leafed out. Menu was okay and prices are not outrageous. We had the burger and friends had the chicken sandwich and both were good. It won't go on the top of my list but I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Loved it. Fried chicken plate and sandwich were incredible. Pub cheese was nice and spicy, and you can't go without having the corn ribs... they were original and delicious.nMost happening joint in Sisters on. Saturday night.

If it's late at night and not much is open, go to McDonalds instead, get twice the food for a quarter of the price and about the same quality.nnMy friends and I were looking for dinner around 9pm. The food looked very good on their website and we were able to order online so we went for it. We knew it would be a bit pricey but understood that we were in Sisters and the food looked good online so we were okay. After ordering about $60 of food online (two entrees, an appetizer and two desserts), we were called informing us that the online ordering system was faulty and shows some food that is unavailable (our two entrees), and they listed some items we could replace them with. I understand that this sort of thing happens and we selected two items which unbeknown to us were appetizers instead of entrees. When picking up the food our entrees were meant to be refunded and we would pay for the additional two items which was $24. This seemed confusing but we seen the bag of food was ready and it seemed to be a good quantity. When we got back to the hotel we found that one of the $12 exchanged items consisted of 3 bite sized pieces of room temperature dry chicken, the other items were equally small quantities and nothing was hot. The cheesecake had no crust (I guess some might prefer this...?), bad flavor, and we were not given utensils to eat it with. All in all we paid $60 for hardly enough food for one person and all of it was sub-par. It seems like the quality of this place is typically alright and I understand that Sisters is an expensive place but I think it was the end of the day and we got served what ever they had left over from the day and were charged for a dinner service that we did not receive.

Servers were friendly, outdoor dining was cozy but spread out. We had the red lentil stew which is perfect for a chilly evening. The star of the night was the hot chocolate, it is simply delicious. We will be coming back!

Was greeted nicely and seated and all seemed well. Ordered in a timely manner although menu wasn’t much to speak of. We sat for an hour before noticing not getting our food. After walking up to ask about our order, it apparently never was placed. While getting up to leave and pay for our drinks, the staff said we didn’t have to pay for the them, which was the only positive out of the experience. Sure not the old Depot Deli.
