Mexican Village

Mexican Village is a great place to eatnIt is a wonderful place to gather with friends, I especially like the lounge there for meeting friends. The food. Oh so delicious. The waiters are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Mexican Village to everyone.

Large portions - next time we will probably only order apps and margaritas or share an entree, I barely touched mine I was so full by the time it came out. Complimentary chips & salsa, the salsa is on the spicier side which I like but people with sensitivities may not care for. Loved the taquitos & mango margarita. We went around 4pm on a Saturday and there were not many people. They sat everyone spaced out which we appreciated.

Used to love coming to Mexican Village. The past 3 or 4 visits the service has been absolutely horrendous. Tried goin there for dinner on 4/9 and sat at our table for 20 minutes without a server stopping by. We stopped another server and asked if we could get some service and she said she would find our server. After another 5 minutes we walked out. To make it worse it was my son's birthday and Mexican Village was his dinner request. More than likely won't be giving them another chance.

First off, chips and salsa were extremely sub par. Chips tasted like dollar store brand chips, salsa was spiced up tomato sauce at best. Entree had a 'gravy' on top that tasted like a bean less and meatless chili. Steak in my burrito was cut into cubes instead of the normal strips, flavor of the meal was decent. I ordered a chili relleno and instead of a full pablano pepper I got a chunk of pepper wrapped in a shell. Not something I would pay $6 for normally.nThis is the first Mexican restaurant I've visited in Fargo and will not be back, there has to be better Mexican joints in town.

Ambiance is good, portions very good, I ordered the wrong item of the vast menu, it was good but to many jalapeno peppers for me, live and learn.
