Soda Butte and its surrounding area is beautiful! My youngest son loved all the bird nests on soda Butte formation well I was amazed by the diversity of wildlife close to each other in Lamar valley. The drive from North campground to & past soda Butte is amazing.

Cool rock formation located just off the side of the roadway. Make a stop, and explore this around all sides -- there's something interesting to see at every angle. Views of the valley, and mountain ranges are also beautiful! Well worth the trip out in the Lamar Valley.
