I was so disappointed when I took my family here while on vacation. I guess I should have known Pocatello is not the place for great sushi, but grocery store sushi is better than what I had here. I don't claim to be a sushi expert, but I have eaten a lot of sushi over the years. This sushi was dry and tasteless. It seemed like the rice was old or something, and I noticed that the way the sushi was rolled was sloppy. They didn't even provide the small dishes for soy sauce to dip the sushi in. the service was fine. I have nothing bad to say about the server. I just left dissatisfied and disappointed. I won't return.
Have been in several times for dine in as well as take out. Our first experience was about a 2 (slow service,, no drinks offered/refilled, no rolls offered after first 2 were finished etc.) while the food was a 5! The last 2 visits have been much better! Service has improved, kitchen timing improved and the Zashiki seating is perfect ud83dudc4c thanks for being awesome and keep up the hard work. If you don't have time to dine in they did amazing with to go orders!
Came in and realized there was a room where you can sit on a tatami mat at a low table. Squealed loudly with joy. Then had remarkably priced food that would have cost my shirt someplace else and loved every bite. Lovely staff and atmosphere.nCondenses? Top 5 favorite restaurants in Pocatello.

This place is amazing! The food is incredible, the service is so great! Definitely one of my families regular places to go! The prices are amazing too!
