The volunteer recommended areas to go and we had a great time exploring the history of mining. Wonderful displays, awesome staff and great campgrounds during off season.

Great rest stop! Plenty of RV parking and shade for picnics. Museum tour and movie were well worth it! Friendly staff.

Beautiful park but it would have even better if the ghost towns were not in shambles.

The ladies that worked there are so helpful and super kind! The museum is very nice and the movie was done really well.

The state park itself is not really worth the drive, unless you're going by there anyway. The ghost towns of Custer and Bonanza are more interesting!
