Mountain Village Mercantile

Visiting from Austin, this place had everything my family needed. We found our favorite Epic bars, kombucha, protein bars, Pur gum, and even Tom's toothpaste. I was impressed. (And what a breathtaking view of the mountains!)

Prices a little high, but good selection of wines; they even had Polish sausage. Thanks god they don't care about the masks, finally you can feel free... :)

Cute store but no masks required. People walked in with no masks on and nothing was said as they talked to the clerk. Sorry, not acceptable during these tough times

Our car started overheating just outside Stanley. The crew at the gas station were very nice and the mechanic took time out to check the car and only charged us for some oil! We only had $5 in cash on hand to give him a tip, but we will try to do something more when we go back. The whole staff here is fantastic. Wonderful little store and gas station at the top of the world!

Great place. Great people! Not friendly on the wallet but can't expect anything else in the middle of nowhere!
