We hired Larsen electric for two things:n1-change the electrical behind the dishwasher to a plug-in outlet so we could simply plug in our dishwasher instead of wire it in.n2-Put a plug-in on the back side of our property (it’s old so wasn’t built with any out there-we want to plug in our miter saw or a smoker, etc. out there)n*They were able to get an electrician out in two days so it was VERY nice to get the dishwasher electrical done within a couple days of calling. We have never had a problem with that work done. However, the guy who came said he didn’t have enough time to do the outdoor plug-in and his reaction to me inquiring about it told me the people who sent him did not tell him about that request. We then had to schedule a different time for that.n*A different person was sent out for the outside plug-in. He recommended we run a line from the electrical box on the outside of our house around the corner because our house is brick and it could be a better option than drilling through the brick. I consented and he started. We haven’t had any problems with that plug-in either.n*After connecting a plug-in on the back of our home, I asked him to look at our sprinkler system electrical because it kept going off and on and our grass was paying the price. I mentioned that we may eventually want to bring our garage up to code and asked him what he thought the estimate would be for doing that. He looked around in the garage for a while and disconnected our light. He told me the plug in for the sprinkler system worked fine. When I asked him why he had disconnected the light, he said it hadn’t been working anyways (we had been using it for 6 months since we purchased the house). I thought maybe he was doing it for safety purposes since it wasn’t up to code??? He spent a lot of time out there in the garage just to take a look, and instead of fixing anything or giving me an estimate, disconnected a light. I paid for his time to do those things.n* One of the biggest things for me is that we were given no estimates while on the phone setting up an appointment or before work began. That bill was almost double what I thought it would be to do those two jobs. We have paid for electrical work to be done in the Boise area which consisted of more jobs and half of the bill we received. I am now looking for someone to come reconnect the light in our garage and bring our garage up to code. Someone who values the time we spend in our professions to pay the money they are expecting for theirs.n*I am giving 3 stars because the work they did seems professionally done and they were able to come out quickly! Docked two stars because of disconnecting our garage light and the cost of their service for the jobs they did was not worth it to me.

So I called to get a fan installed in my living room. I was really clear that there was no light or fan there. Service was scheduled for about a week and a half after. Totally get it's right around Christmas. The day of service no one showed so I called. Got a nice response saying essentially that there was an error and someone would come out the following day. Okay things happen. When the guy shows up he looks confused there is no box in place and that he needs an apprentice to help with the installation and no one is available. The office calls back about an hour later and explains that someone can come in about a week. I called around and got someone else after that. I called back to cancel, and was informed that new help was answering the phone and didn't know what questions to ask about jobs. I was really sorry to hear that the person who was answering the phone had some family health concerns. I don't want anyone else to get the same service I didn't.

I can’t say enough good things about Larson Electric! They added power to a new main floor laundry and moved/added outlets to my kitchen remodel! So prompt and professional and really a great job all around. They were so good to work with my changing time frame and even did extra things that were not originally planned for me! Awesome customer service! Amazing work! Thank you!
