My favorite restaurant! ONLY place I take out of town guests or celebrate events. Warm, small, tucked into the trees, view of the mountains and wildlife. Salad bar and homemade bread the best,nSmall menu but first class. Owners create wonderful ambiance and are so welcoming. Go there! Its worth it and you will return!

this is my favorite restaurant in montana. I have been eating at the broad axe since i was like 2 and i am 16 now. it’s such a cute restaurant and has a cozy vibe to it and it’s in the middle of nowhere and it’s so quiet. the owners are so nice and my family is really close with the owners. their food is so good and i would definitely recommend going here!

Very limited options for the south end of the bitterroot valley. The Broad Axe is by far the most well ran and exceptional food we have encountered. Would recommend them to any one.

This has been a family favorite for 40+ years. Service is wonderful. Food is excellent. And the environment is so warm. It is a Montanan Gem. Nicely tucked away from all the hustle and bustle.
