Massacre Rocks State Park

It’s a hidden little gem. Boat rampnIs easily accessible. If you drive to the East there’s a walking path that leads to the Snake River. It’s beautiful. It’s a short little hike across the bridge.nThere’s also a disc golf course.

Beautiful place, a bit of a hike to fish. Nicely taken care of area, camping spots as well as fishing

Rolled up at midnight under a no-moon sky. Pitch black and impossible to back into any of the few remaining, narrow spots (we have a 19' trailer). Most seemed to have full hookups - $35, and $25 without. They have flush toilets and showers, potable water and a dump station. The way it’s laid out makes it feel like there’s a decent amount of space btwn sites, but kind of an illusion. The lower camp area has less freeway noise, if you can score it. Looked like a popular place - only a handful of spots left on a Tuesday in mid-September.nnWe decided to park in the visitor center lot in front of some huge rocks. Left a note on the door of our trailer for the ranger apologizing for parking there, and it was gone in the morning ud83dude01 T Mobile cell service was terrible. We’ve been trying to outrun smoke from the fires in CA/OR/WA…air quality is getting better the further East we go!
