Great food, friendly staff. They are currently under construction inside, but still did a fantastic job of serving their fans the great fare they are known for. Nothing beats their fresh Mexican. And the added bonus is they have diet dr pepper!

Decent Mexican dishes which you may choose the content. Eaten at Cafe Rio 2x. This location is currently remodeling, so it was a bit rough inside with the drywall mud scent. They were out of their horchata, tea, and other beverages. Fountain drinks were almost out too i.e. lemonade. Service is always fast. Tortillas are always good too. I think this place will be better when they complete their work.

This was our third cafe Rio in a month, and sadly was the least satisfying. The store is under construction so somethings are to be expected. At first we couldn't even tell the place was open, we were driving away when we saw someone go in the door. But all the counters that customers could contact were dirty, as if they hadn't been wiped down in a day or two and the chairs were sticky. With mask requirements there was only one employee who we could understand, I can only guess that the rest mumble even without masks. Then there was the food, dry and flavorless, the tortillas felt and tasted as though they came from a bag that had been opened for days, beans seemed days old as well. And then the worst part of the whole thing was the saddest sweet pork I've ever experienced, this is their big deal. My girlfriend loves cafe Rio so when on road trips we have to stop if we find one, there are none close to home, but we'll likely skip this location.
