Burley Municipal Airport (BYI)

Marked as having fuel but not self service and no-one was around despite being before 5pm. Tried calling to get fuel and courtesy car but nobody answered the phone posted at the FBO. Thankfully we had enough fuel to get to Jerome, which was a nice place.

Small airport, good place to watch small aircraft and LifeFlight come and go

We were handed the keys to a courtesy car.

Flew out of this airport for a couple jobs. Really nice crew working around the area

Hard to rate this airport fairly as it is below FAA standards but this airport has plenty of transient parking, fuel is available and it’s close to food and recreational activities in Burley, Heyburn and surrounding areas. There’s a frisbee golf course adjacent the airport and Rivers Edge Golf Club across the street. There’s also boat rental and the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce nearby.
