Lemhi County Historical Museum

We had a great time learning about the history of Salmon Idaho! The museum guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this museum to anyone who would like to learn more about Idaho history :-)

Intrigue,history and placement of the beginning of the town's adventurous spirit

Admission by donation. Plan on 1 hour if you're a reader, 10 minutes if you skim, but definitely worth the stop. Native/ Indian artifacts (beaded stuff), mining/ claims, cowboys, local business/ homesteaders historic items, lumber industry, and absolutely fascinating artifacts from the Chinese population.

I didn't hate this place, it was very interesting and fun. People were very nice. Would recommend visiting Salmon to my friend's
