Mickinnick Trail Head 13

The trail says it is kid friendly, so I thought it would be an easier hike. But great trail if you want a workout and to see a beautiful view. It’s a bit rocky.

Great hike for all levels with really nice overlook views of Sandpoint and the lake!

Good trail. Very fun and the scenery is very rewarding.

This hike is no joke. Beautiful but challenging. The 3.5 miles to the top is very steep with a lot of rocks and roots on a well kept trail. The top offers a great view of Sandpoint and the massive lake, and when the timing is right (we got lucky) a bounty of huckleberries. If you're looking for a good workout, this is a great way to go. Only saw a few folks on trail, which was nice. Ample parking and a public restroom are a nice touch.

Great trail! Could be strenuous for some but well worth the climb for gorgeous views of Lake Pend O'reille and distant mountains. Also, wildflowers abound!
