Went in for an oil change and Cade discovered a serious issue when my car was on the lift. He had the parts ordered and replaced by the next day. He saved me from a terrible accident.

So I needed to get rid of my ugly, trashy Chevy Avalanche.so I went and I sold it but I needed a new vehicle, something that was much more fuel efficient and something that was a little smaller. I looked around my neighborhood and around Logan to find somewhere that had decently priced vehicles and impressed and I found hometown Auto. it took a little bit of timing to get with the guy that I needed to to buy a vehicle but I ended up getting a really nice vehicle that's lasted me for months since without any problems. It took a little bit of timing to get with the guy that I needed to to buy a vehicle but I ended up getting a really nice vehicle that's lasted me for months since without any problems.and the fact that it's a used vehicle and it's running so well and I haven't had any problems with it even with tires that have been worn down quite a lot, I love this vehicle and I feel like I was definitely really helped in finding a good vehicle. my first vehicle was that Chevy Avalanche and I bought it from a dealership in Garland and I really felt cheated. the salesmen really talked it up and made it seem like an incredible truck and after driving it I felt also confident in it but after a few days I noticed dozens of things were wrong with it from the horn to severe mechanical issues. I genuinely felt cheated. But at hometown Auto I felt like he genuinely cared that I got a decent vehicle that would get me from point A to point B.

A few months ago I bought a car from these guys, they said they had completely gone through the car and said it was good to go. The check engine light immediately came on; they said it was the thermostat and said they would fix it. The check engine light came on a few times after that and they simply cleared it every time instead of doing something about it. After that, my car died and over heated more than once. Since not having a good experience with them, I took it to a shop who specializes in the type of car I bought. The shop went through this car with a fine toothed comb, and said, “Every time we turned around there was something else wrong with this car.” They found a blown head gasket, an engine full of “Lumiseal,” broken springs, the wrong thermostat put on, and more; all of which explain the over heating and dying. I spent over $4,000 to have this car fixed. I may have signed an “as is” agreement, but I expected this car to be in good condition considering they told me they had gone through it. I am not meaning to be malicious or rude, but I wanted to make others aware and help them avoid spending more money than necessary by buying a car here. Please be cautious.nnUpdate: This same car ended up requiring a brand new engine, a new catalytic converter, and a new clutch.
