U.S Customs and Border Protection

Great experience crossing the border from the Canadian to the US side. Because travelling with a German passport I had to give them my fingerprints. There was also an additional fee of six US dollars. There was also an additional fee of six US dollars other than that painless and easy. Open 24 hours

Crossed the border here many times in the past and always found the border agents to be great. Never had any real issues with them and they have always been polite and efficient. There was one year we forgot to dispose of some fruit before we got to the border and the agent was really good about it. He had us dispose of it and sign a form instead of fining us. It was a lesson learned for us!nnThis border crossing typically doesn't have a very long line up. On the odd occasion where i have seen a line up, it usually moves along pretty quickly.

It went well crossed over in January. Patrol officers were kind and went fast

Waited an hour for about 6 cars to get through the US side, amazingly slow. Maybe they where closed for lunch, my bad for trying to get through at noon! Why are US agents so much slower than the Canadian agents?
