Jordan River Parkway Crossing

Very nice and fast trail!

We walk this trail ALL THE TIME and love it! It’s paved well and not very busy near 14600 S compared to other sections. The scenery is diverse with marshland, rivers, ponds, grassy fields with cattle and horses, goats, and even huge trees towering over certain parts of the trail. We’ve seen a bunch of fun wildlife like deer, praying mantis, beavers, rattle snakes, hawks etc. take a stroller and bring the kids or hop on a bike for further travel. It’s always a good time.

Love this trail and the ability to be in the city but feel like you're out in the wilderness. I wish the county/city would connect this trail to meaningful destinations like workplaces, shopping and schools.

Parking at 1456th allows you to go either South or North on the paved Jordan River Parkway. Quiet, scenic wall either direction.

Not crowded, beautiful views, great for walking the dog and seeing some nature
