We love supporting new places that have great food. While the location is unique and unassuming, the food is definitely worth experiencing. I recommend the brunch burger if you are interested in a Taiwanese twist! My husband lived in Taiwan, and this dish reminded him of the food he loves and misses. I can tell we will be craving a repeat of that one again. I have never recommended water before, but they actually have different options - and the Liquid Death from Austria was fun. If you have room for dessert, try the cheesecake flan.

What a treat! The food is super inventive and delicious. Plus, the co-owners are such joy and make the experience unique. They really care about creating a welcoming environment. I can't wait to come back and visit on our next trip.

Location was very surprising - tried to sit outside but its in a parking lot of a strip mall that was very windy so we got take out. Food was solid, very unique flavors. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

For someone who considers Santa Fe a food town, I can tell you Liu Liu Liu is what has been missing. My wife, who is Taiwanese and a tough critic, discovered this gem when researching our food options for this visit to Santa Fe (we plan our trips around meals). We ordered a nice variety of plates to get a feel for the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The mini red chile powder/honey coated sopapillas paired (to dip) with a liver mousse brought France and New Mexico together in your mouth in a surprisingly delicious way you wouldn't have thought was possible. The sweetness of the shrimp and flavor of the rice tossed in squid ink had us smiling, but it was the piping hot Taiwanese style popcorn chicken that stole the show. You would have thought it was straight out of a night market in Taipei if it wasn't for the generous shavings of fresh black truffle shaved onto the dish right in front of your eyes. The beef noodle soup was also worthy of its origins, according to my wife. Lamb, bison, these restaurateurs have no intention of dumbing down this small but extremely adventurous menu, so if you aren't a real foodie, you might try something a bit more comfortable somewhere else. I'll end by saying the couple (2) have a current Covid-19 capacity of 3 tables so make a reservation and be patient as no brick and morter restaurant can afford to have help at that capacity. In fact the couple (2) are running the whole culinary experience all-by-themselves. Hope to be back soon!
