Our experience with the staff at this slide was way above all expectations. Staff member named Al (seen in picture) went above and beyond to accommodate our disabled daughter and reassured me and my husband that she would be able to ride by herself. His words were “Our goal here is to get all who are willing to ride go down on slide and experience the fun”. Well, he was right and she was super thrilled with our ride. Once the employees saw the excitement on her face they allowed her and our group to ride down again with a little more confidence. Thank you”Alpine Slide for making my daughters day and our groups day! We highly recommend you take your kids and family here for great experience.

Beautiful scenery, fun for the whole family. Reasonably priced. They have added more activities but we enjoy the slide the best. We have gone several times through the years and have made many wonderful memories.

Compared to some other area attractions the prices are more reasonable ($15 for adults, $7 for kids for one ride). I took my 3 year old and we had a blast! The ride up on the ski lift is fun too.

My wife and I, along with our three kids (ages 4, 6, and 9) took two trips down the Alpine slide this week. The experience was fantastic. Our 4 & 6 year olds had to ride with mom and day. Our 9 year old was able to ride alone. The 4 & 6 year olds wanted to go slow at first but both asked to speed up about half way down. All three kids absolutely loved it and convinced us to take another trip down. The chairlift was also part of the fun for the kids.nnI highly recommend the Alpine slide for families!nnIn comparison, we were unable to ride the Alpine Coaster at the ski resort (a completely different attraction, don't get them confused like I did when planning our visit). Our 9 year old wasn't tall enough to ride alone and there was no way for two adults to ride with three kids. We were told that our 9 year old would need to wait at the bottom of the lift alone while we took our other kids (no way!).nnGive it a try. The price was reasonable and well worth it.

My 9 year old son rode on a broken car with a loose bolt. His low weight combined with the bolt issue caused him to slow down to a full stop in a flatter section of the track. He heard another car rapidly approaching behind him and was terrified he would be rear ended and injured. Fortunately he thought on his feet and jumped out of the car and off the track. He pulled the car off the track and into the grass as well so that the person behind him would not slam into his car and get hurt. He then had to hike down the hill with the car by himself. The Howler is outdated and dangerous and frankly, I am surprised it's still in operation.
