This is a great place to go next to grand junction Colorado. Great view of the Colorado River and the surrounding cities.
Amazing. Looks like radiator springs
This is a beautiful, peaceful area. There are some walking trails, most are moderate in difficulty. There is a covered sitting area, wonderful to read a book or just enjoy mother nature. Parking at the shelter is limited but other parking is available within a 1/2 mile. The amphitheater, gift shop and camping sites are within a mile.
This area also has some of the oldest Pinyon Pines.
Shelter with incredible views of the Colorado river, and Fruita, Colorado. Built in the 30s on the historical register.
