Beautiful place overlooking the lake! Definitely take the paved route from DeBeque/Colbran and not Silt as roads were not clearly marked and dirt road had major ruts.nnWasn’t sure what to expect of the cabins with no pictures of the inside of them posted, however we were very impressed! Rooms were very spacious, clean and had cute decor. Bathroom also clean with hot water for showers. Kitchen area was supplied with some necessities. Would bring a plastic storage container to put any food in as mice were a little bit of a problem but wouldn’t deter us from staying again! Stars were amazing and weather was nice and cool at night. Bet fall colors are gorgeous!

The owners are SO friendly! The cabins are ADORABLE! We ate in the lodge 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our meal both nights. We rented a canoe one day and LOVED that too. The owners put the canoe in the lake for us...I HIGHLY recommended Vega Lodge!!!

My husband and o have ate here several times and I love the atmosphere is this restaurant. The service is amazing, the food is delicious. I have had the pleasure of having the mom and two daughters as my waitress/cashier and all have been very friendly and helpful. Being 30 minutes from Collbran they have a good selection of items you may need. If your looking for a place to have quality time without cell phone distractions this is your place!

We stayed there over the 4th of July. We have always stayed in cabin 11. The last time we were there was about 3 years ago there needed to be some work done to the cabin. We went back and were very pleased. The new owners are very friendly and the service is great. We will be going back for sure. I can’t wait to go back! The summer view of the blue lake from my bedroom window as I woke up was just what I needed to relax and unwind. Kayaking was rejuvenating as I took in the natural beauty surrounding me. I enjoyed the pleasures of watching wildlife-hummingbirds and deer- and sitting with family and friends while taking in the fresh mountain air. The restaurant food was delicious and the service was excellent. The owners are friendly and hard-working people who make this get-away a home away from home.
