McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area

Great spot to hike or mountain bike! The views on Steve’s loop are amazing!

Plenty of trails for the family and your dogs. Its beautiful. The formations are always different and fun to see.

I tried to get here from Arches, andnGoogle Maps sent me through Colorado Monument park entrance near Fruita, which I didnt have to pay $20 just to cross thanks to the yearly pass. The worst part is that after that GMaps led me through dirt roads that were dead ends or privately owned. Basically, GMaps didnt know how to get there and sent me on a time and gasoline wasting long drive. The 3 stars is not a rating on the park itself but on its accessibility through Google Maps.

A great spot to camp in the spring, the cold keeps it quiet. Views to die for if the Colorado river.

Only went up about a half mi. but the hike is moderate and offers some nice views of the adjacent ranges.
