Grand Valley Climbing

Grand valley climbing was a great gym! They have bouldering, auto belay, top rope and lead routes. The staff was very helpful and reminded us how to belay properly since we were a little rusty. We stopped by while visiting family in grand junction and had so much fun! I will definitely go back when we are in town again :)

Great service, gear is clean and well maintained. Little pricey but definitely worth it!

As a novice climber, this gym was great! The auto-belays and bouldering areas are great for skill improvement of various levels. You'll enjoy it if you spend the day climbing with friends or want to get a good workout on your own. Staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. I only gave 4 stars because membership costs are high and while I really like the various fitness classes, it seems like the gym has a hard time getting teachers to stick around.

I really, really enjoy my time spent at this gym. Great friends have been made within the climbing community here. I have been a member for about 1-1/2 years now, but sadly from the very beginning could tell little was invested back into the gym or its members. However, it does have good climbing terrain for the space and the essentials for training. Therefore, I was really baffled at the unexpected price hike recently WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. How can a gym that is a fraction of the size of many commercial gyms in the country charge $90 per month? It is without a doubt one of the more expensive climbing gym memberships one can purchase, ANYWHERE, but with none of same amenities or amount of space. Please tell me HUGE changes will be made with this place. Better pay and opportunity for employees, more classes/events, better training equipment, MORE CLIMBING HOLDS? I seriously cannot wrap my head around how you could charge more than an Earth Treks/Movement membership and those memberships have access to FIVE GYMS just in the Denver Metro area alone...I feel a tiny bit sorry for writing this, but management needs to wake up here. I heard more than one person venting about this topic as I was leaving the gym last night. The word is out and people are not happy. Whats the move?

Very professional gym with amazing routes. We came in for a day and loved very second of it.
