ANB Bank

Unfortunately Grand Junction is limited on larger banks. I am reviewing ANB based upon my experience in opening a new business account without having to travel to Denver.nI will start by stating the positive. The bank is clean and up to date. I was surprised to receive $150.00 for starting a new account. Free money is always good!nUnfortunately so far that is where the positives end. I would urge caution in opening an account here. All of the documents were filled out electronically, to include signatures, limiting the ability to catch or correct mistakes as the banker was inputting the information. After not receiving my online login information via email, I had to call customer support to find out my email and login information had been inputted incorrectly at the bank... While this was able to be fixed, it took more time out of a busy schedule to remedy.nSecondly and fair warning to anyone thinking they will have access to their funds. The bank puts new customers through very tight deposit verifications. Upon giving a fair amount of money in checks to open my account and having it deposited, I was informed there would be a hold for 9 business days to ensure the checks go through. This seems like a lengthy delay for any bank to put on a customer, whether new or not and should be changed by management to compete with larger banks. After second guessing my business decision, I will give them time but can say we are not off to a good start.nBest of luck with your banking needs!
