Mesa County Valley School District 51

This school district is a joke, anyone familiar with FERPA? The school principles at Grand Mesa violate student privacy and don't even think twice about it. I have messages from another students parents telling me things about my son that the school disclosed to them. They should be ashamed of themselves. And when you challenge them they target you and your kids.

District 51 is extremely lacking. We have overcrowded schools, students not learning at the pace they should, and staff that treats kids like prisoners. How sad that our kids’ education is put into the hands of this district. Online schooling is a better bet....

I have tried without success to find out the last day of school at Redlands Middle School. I am trying to plan a visit with my grandson but evidently the information regarding the last day of school is top secret and closely guarded. I suggest you make it a little easier for out of state friends and relatives to obtain this information for purposes of family visits.

It’s all politics. They don’t take matters that should be addressed seriously and cover for bad teachers!

This district should be ashamed of itself because they don’t protect the students I know a few of the students that this district have let down and those students are no longer with us because they don’t do anything except cover their own behinds!!!! So glad my kids will never attend one of their schools when they get older and we have officially moved out of the district!
