Lake Meredith Reservoir

Interesting lake set up, great for a spur of the moment adventure. The lake is even warm, but beware of the wind storms.

What an awesome lake, I could've sworn I was in Miami with all the models in bikinis walking around. Wildlife right on the beach, with big beautiful eyes. The aroma was wonderful when the wind blew from the north. We had bonfires every night singing kumbuya holding hands and dancing around the ud83dudd25.

Like another comment says it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. There is absolutely no shade and there is a decent amount of wind making a canopy hard to keep up. I would say if you don't have a camper you probably won't enjoy your time. Another down side is if the wind shifts you get the not so lovely smell of the cow slaughter field up the road. I know I haven't painted a pretty picture but it's honest and me and my family had a great time. The water is very warm because it's shallow I would say it's much cleaner than Pueblo. When we went there weren't too many mosquitoes which was nice. Being able to camp right at the water is awesome. I think we will definitely be back

Awesome lake for boating; Lots of surface area. Home to the Mile High Meet and Greet every summer. Also, Colorado's very first lake to allow sea planes to land.

May not be everyone's cup of tea, or shall I say water but we love this lake! Wish people would respect it and not litter, but we always go around and pick up trash to keep it as good as we can!
