Ordway South Park/Ordway Spray Park

The water was not running on the day my family visited the Ordway Splash Pad, but the sprinklers were running in the surrounding park that entertained the kids for a while. Boomers Restaurant is across the street and the kids and I appreciated the chance to play at the splash park and then make a quick trip for a milk shake or French fries before returning home. We were disappointed not to get to see the splash park in action and look forward to returning on a day when it’s working again.

The splash pad took about 10 minutes to turn on, and there were a few that weren't working. My little cousins had a blast, though. The playground is kinda mediocre. Just some swings and that's it. The benches need work. The paint is faded and peeling off, and they're rusting in sone areas.
