Yo Sushi

Great take out Sushi, they are really good about special requests. I've tried all the sushi in the area and this is my go to for take out. I usually order ahead on the phone and they text you when its ready.nnThey have a huge menu with several vegetarian friendly options and everything I have had from there was very fresh and tasty. They are usually pretty busy whenever I go but pretty quick for the volume they do, they tend to quote a longer wait time but it ends up done early. The people are super nice and never mess up my order. my wife (who is not a vegetarian and eats the stuff with fish). Also loves their food. They have non sushi options if you're trying to get your sushi fix with someone who doesn't do sushi or isn't in the mood.nnI'm a vegetarian and love vegetable tempura cut rolls, its not on the menu but once I explain what I want they are happy to make it and don't seem put out about it the way many places do. Vegetable tempura cut rolls are a great way to give vegetarians more options using stuff all sushi places already have but for some reason most sushi places treat you like an alien asking for something crazy, you make vegetable tempura, cut it up and throw it in a roll, its the veggie version of a crunch roll, most places give at least a bit of attitude if they are even willing to make it, but not these guys. They may seem a little confused but once they know what you want they happily do it, and do it well. I think its $2 extra over a veggie roll, which seems very fair.nnI wish more sushi places were veggie friendly, there is a great vegan sushi place in San Francisco and they have a line down the block and are booked from opening till closing, they have a full menu of special vegan sushi rolls and their food is super next level. That may be a little too much to expect around here but I would love a short vegetarian menu with a few special rolls but short of that, a place that will take special requests and not treat you crazy for wanting something veggie with a little crunch is very nice to have.

Sushi was amazing, the rolls were huge, tasty & fulfilling. Glad my friend & I stopped here on the way home. Worth the wait!!

Been eating at this location for years. Glad to know the quality is still up to par during the pandemic. If I could, I'd eat them 2-3 times a week easy. Can be pricey but worth it!

Ordered 3 rolls and an appetizer online. After completing my payment I got an estimated wait time of over an hour and a half. Now I get that it's a Friday around dinner time but and hour and a half for 3 rolls and an app is ridiculous for a place only doing takeout. After I received the text telling me how long I would have to wait I called immediately to cancel the order, after which the girl on the phone told they'd be holding on to my money for about 2-3 business days. I don't write reviews like this but the attitude I got from the check stand girl was outrageous considering how polite I was being about the whole thing.

Really great whole in the wall type sushi. I don't really eat much sushi rolls but when my family brings me here I genuinely enjoy their sushi.
