Great walk, 1 mile from Ranger station use trails or access road from Monument road. Motor Vehicles are prohibited. Next to entrance for La Hacienda 2575 Monument Rd, San Diego, CA 92154.

Nice trails along the US/Mexico border. Good for hiking,horseback riding and mountain biking. Nice climbs on well defined pathways. With good options to go down. Hidden gems of the southbay. Enjoy! ud83dude02ud83dudc4dud83dudeb5ud83cudfc3ud83dudc63.
Beautiful scenery, but potentially dangerous. Visited with a Border Patrol agent who warned us human and drug traffickers use the area to smuggle narcotics and illegal migrants through. He pointed to several spotters on the Mexican side who were watching us. Despite the sinister nature of the location, it's still stunningly beautiful, but be aware of the dangers if you visit.
Been Here many many times. The hills is like 300 ft but is somewhat steep but very fun. I would recommend everyone to try it out, the view is worth the hike.
