This is one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego. The seafood is always fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Plus the clam chowder in a bread bowl is amazing, especially for chilly nights in the pier. But the most impressive thing about the Tin Fish is the location - it’s the most southwesterly point in the US and offers spectacular views of the city and the ocean. Next time you’re in Imperial Beach, grab a taco here and enjoy the sunset over the horizon.

The chicken strip combo is the best. I went there for my birthday lunch and the lady at the cash register was amazing. She was so excited that somebody came there for their birthday that she gave me a small discount and a few extra ounces in my margarita! She made me feel special on my birthday and I really appreciate it.

This place is clearly one of the coolest restaurants in the neighborhood. Anytime I visit this place I am so glad. They hold their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Very recommended.

I ordered to go two fried shrimp platters and when I got home I got one full fried shrimp platter with extra box of shrimp. I should have checked the bag but trusted them. Also the coleslaw was in a little ketchup plastic container not a full serving. Next time I'll take everything out and verify. All that cost 38 bucks. Food was great just upsetting to drive home and family had to share fries. Next time ill order food plates and then put in my own box to get a full meal!

I told the chef/cook/cashier what I wanted, which was a basket of salmon and shrimp. After tipping them, they rang a bell grateful for the tip. But, once the meal came out, i noticed that it was cod rather than salmon. Now, with my passive attitude I just consumed the food but it upsets me that I left a tip after being confirmed my order. If it wasn’t possible to craft, I would’ve have gotten a different order. But instead I was mislead to something else. Food was good tho
