Affordable Marine Service

Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars. There is not anything affordable about Affordable Marine. This place is a complete rip off. We payed to have work done here. After getting our boat back we had nothing but problems with the repairs they supposedly made. First off not one of there workers seamed to be united states citizens. Most likely do not pay taxes. I highly doubt there even actual qualified mechanics considering all the problems we continued to have once we received our boat back. You have been warned stay away from this place!

I don't usually take the time to write these online reviews but in this case I felt it was duly warranted. With friends coming into town for the upcoming weekend I'd gone down to my boat to make sure everything was ready to go. Low and behold, it turned over but wouldn't start. Ran great last time out so I wasn't sure what could be wrong. Not having the best of luck with a previous repair shop I quizzed a few boating friends on their recommendations. The name Affordable Marine Service came up more than once. I spoke with Dennis, who seemed very knowledgeable, and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. Took care of the repairs, made me aware of some possible upcoming issues that will need to be addressed in the near future (to prevent any more last minute problems) and needless to say, thanks to the guys at AMS my buddies and I had a great weekend.

Dennis the owner is a great guy knows his stuff very responsive. Gets the job done in a timely manner and very efficient I would highly recommend them.

Just wondering... Are you still illegally paying your mechanics under the table and under paying them. Expect to be turned in to the labor board..

This place will shake your hand, schedule a repair date, call you and reschedule the repair date and not show up. Don't use this company I made arrangements for some major work to be done on my boat way in advance andnThese guys stood me up no phone no text no nothing. I have never seen such a total disregard for doing business , is America really that well off that we can leave good money on the table? This company will waste your time.
