Definitely give this a try. The food is great the smoothies are awesome. Get their coco waffle. It is as pretty as the picture on their website and it tastes delicious. And yes, those are edible flowers.

What a creative and delicious take on Eggs Benedict! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Only minor downside was the yolk wasn’t runny, but overall everything was tasty: the bread, tomato, avocado and pesto sauce melded very well. Their macchiato is great too. There’s outdoor benches close by so you can enjoy during these crazy times. The workers also were very efficient and friendly. Will be back!

I really enjoyed my Health Breakfast Bowl and I had to know what made the Oatmeal quinoa mixture so creamy. Coconut milk and banana! Perfect.

We were delighted to find this online menu and ordered the green goddess salad with salmon as well as the eggs and smoked salmon. The eggs and smoked salmon were good. The dipping sauce was delicious and the beet cured salmon very unique. The only drawback was that the bread was a bit soggy. For the goddess salad with salmon, the salmon was moist and delicious. However, the salad was missing ingredients and poorly dressed. The salad was mostly greens with three slim slices of radish and three slim slices of avocado. The salad was doused in oil with a missing vinegar component as well as no dill or chives. Within a few hours of having this salad my fiancé felt nauseous and sick. If you order from this cafe, check the food before leaving the restaurant to ensure satisfaction. We expected A LOT more from a $20 salad.

The cafe that used to be here was waaayyyy better. Their tea and coffee menu is a sad excuse for a selection and replacement for what used to be here. This place is cold and cookie cutter meant to look artsy and fun. What used to be here was actually artsy since they sold local art there. Really miss the warm tones and attitudes of the former cafe and staff. Sad to see Coronado letting another chain overrun a good small business. Go to Clayton's or the coffee spot at Bay Books if you want an authentic, one-of-a-kind Coronado experience. Otherwise, you can get the same coffee and experience in four other locations in San Diego.
