Salon On First

I have been seeing Marilyn at Salon on First and I love how she has done my hair! She has worked with me over a few visits and the color she has gotten me to is wonderful. Scheduling is a breeze because I just send a text and Marilyn works with my schedule. I feel safe because the salon is clean and everyone is at a safe distance. I get compliments on my hair all the time and will continue to see her because she’s awesome!

I recently contacted Marilyn, the owner at Salon on First, to schedule a haircut and perm for my mom who was turning 83. Since Marilyn herself does not specialize in perms, she found another amazing stylist, Faith, to do my mom’s birthday services.nnMarilyn personally greeted my mother and her caregiver with a balloon and flowers and made sure that Mom’s experience was top notch!nnBecause Salon on First is committed to keeping their staff and clients safe, my mom’s caregiver could not wait inside and got to enjoy a walk across the street at the landing with a beautiful view of San Diego bay and the gorgeous downtown cityscape. Marilyn was kind enough to take pictures of my mom before, during and after her services so that we did not miss out on enjoying the special experience with her!nnFaith did an excellent job both with Mom’s hair as well as making her feel comfortable. My mother has a tendency to be pretty quiet and a bit shy, but she opened up and really enjoyed her conversation with Faith.nnMom was so happy with her hair and her experience and she that she said it was the best birthday present that she could ask for! Seeing my mother so happy and beautiful was priceless!nnAlthough I have not yet had the pleasure of enjoying a service from Faith myself, my experiences when I had services with Marilyn were phenomenal! Marilyn has magic hands and gives the best shampoo I have experienced anywhere in the world for any price! If you have not indulged in one of Marilyn’s shampoos, it is an absolute must to add to your self-care list!nnThank you Marilyn and Faith for making Mom’s day! I’ve been coming here since day 1! Every time I walk in to this Salon, I feel so excited. With some recent remodeling and reopening of the Salon, the place feels and looks amazing! Marilyn has been doing my hair for 7 years now and to see her passion come to life in this space is Spectacular. Great Job! Highly recommend this place.

This is an amazing salon and Tim is a wonderful stylist. He is creative and always does a wonderful job.

Faith did my hair beautifully!! She even set some time aside to style my hair afterwards, and I didn’t have to ask for her to. I would highly suggest going here and seeing her!! I couldn’t be happier! -Vannah
