It's a tough, exposed climb but the trail is super well maintained. Just make sure to wear sunscreen or a nice hat. You can get a pretty good view of the city and see Mount Wilson. Also, there are a lot of hikers on this trail so be kind and wear a mask.

A challenging number of switchbacks for the first timer but gorgeous views of the monastery, downtown LA and Arcadia.

Good workout. Trail is heavily trafficked on the weekends. Parking fills up , so you may have to walk to throught the park to the trailhead. Great views once at Jones Peak!!!

A short and steep trail leads to the peak from city of Sierra Madre, great work out.

Great trail with a lot of spectacular views along the way. A good portion of the trail is shaded as well.
