Black Mountain Trailhead PRIVATE

This is a short trail mostly through private property. Primary trailhead for Black Mountain trail loop is on Rice Farm Road.

The staff are incredibly friendly and nice. Great place, good price, good people.nnThey know great places to visit, especially hiking. Will be staying here on my next visit to Vermont!

Nice, not too steep, trail. We saw lots of Mountain Laurel. About 20 minutes each way. It goes up through woods to an old Boy Scout location, with views down the Connecticut River, over to Monadnock, and up the valley the West River descends.

Great trail, easy hike, fantastic view. Perfect for families. Thank you to the owners.
