Silk Road Covered Bridge

I felt the kindness of everyone passing through this bridge. Patience at giving way to whoever passes the bridge. Be it humans or vehicles.

beautiful structure well preserved history of motor ways

This is another one of those 'must stop' and visit Vermont Covered Bridge as we vacationed throughout New England last fall. This bridge is very easy to access, outside Bennington, Vermont. Parking is a premium. I pulled off along the berm of the road. It was not a big deal. The vehicle traffic can be busy at times, so stay alert and be careful; you won't be the 1st tourist the locals have seen here! With the water below, the view is simply gorgeous.

Absolutely disappointing spot, we drove 200 miles to see this because the Lonely Planet recommended it. Make sure you never come here.
