Rockville Mgmt Area Trailhead

Good hike on well tended trails! Read the board for information on the blazes so you don't get off track. The first mile is easy but toward Long Pond there are some rocks and scrambles. Wear boots for the rocks.

The trail was great. A bit more demanding in the wet, because it was partly slippery, so this hiking boots are absolutely necessary, but a very nice view of the lake. During hunting season, however, always wear safety vests, because in the distance shots were heard.
