This was a beautiful place to workout in. Five stars. Unfortunately i think the new owner of several years ago didn't understand the economics this Fitness business now this wonderful Institution is out of business. I was a member there for 12 years and all of a sudden my yearly membership cost about doubled. So I like many others were forced to go elsewhere. What a shame. The owner that purchased it should have known the cash flow before buying it at the sell price he did so he would know whether the sale price was proper. Why else would prices raise so much so quickly without any remodeling being done . I hope somebody buys it and keeps it a fitness center, hopefully the owner didn't liquidate all the equipment yet.

Overall would rate the gym 2.5 Stars currently. Several treadmills inoperable. Bathroom facilities are in Decline. Membership rates and methods of payment are no longer economical. Ownership needs to get a better feel for membership concerns. Lack of leadership behind the counter. Former 2-year member now enrolled around the corner on 2nd Street. Would like to see better rates for Barberton residents just not city of Barberton employees who don't live here anyway. Would like to see the gym get back to its roots and maybe I would return as a member someday.

Friendly place . Plenty room to work out with others or alone . Very spacious
