Attempted to visit however, I was alone and couldn't get past the feeling that if I tried I would never be seen again. It looked so overgrown and uninviting. I was disappointed because the place I was staying at boasted of a lake nearby was unable to actually see it and I love the water. Work is needed for sure.
The trail around the lake really needs to be cleared. The hill to get down to the lake and back to the parking lot is no joke lol. Be ready for it. Other than that it's a pretty cool lake.
This was the worst. Doesn't look like anyone has maintained this place in years.. the weeds were so high you couldn't see the trail.. trees fallen over so we had to climb to get thru.. the bridge was half broken and wobbly. The lake was nothing but green slime. We had to turn around cause we couldn't get thru. This was absolutely awful.
I love this lake its rugged and hard to get to, keeps the wannabes away.
Over grown all you really have is a path for just your feet and pray to God you don't slip and fall!
