White Caps Motel and RV Park

Been here twice, both times the rooms were clean and neat as promised. Is it the Ritz? No, but for the price you can't beat it. They have an activity room with an ice machine that we used for keeping our fish cold for the trip home. Going there twice next year, gonna catch a ton of Walleye the first time and Perch on the second visit. All in all you can't beat the place. By the way we spent three nights each visit and each day when we returned from fishing the room was cleaned and sterilized. What more can you ask for when on a fishing trip. Great place for my purpose.

Been there 6 times this year a pleasant place to stay ,clean affordable, convenient, and the staff was outstanding. Will be back many times in 2020.

I stayed at that White Caps Motel in Spring 2018 for an overnight trip to Port Clinton. I stayed in one of the hotel rooms. It was pleasant, clean, had a large fridge and everything worked. I had not planned to come and fish, but there was a spot where I could have at the back of the property on a private, wooded stream. I would go back with fishing gear next time to try it. Most of the campsites are rented long term to people who set up decks, barbecue areas, and plant flowers around their site. I went walking to see the little neighborhood which was a friendly community. The staff were helpful and the lodge was decorated as a living room with a fireplace and lots of boat-related antiques. There was a large room that could be rented for meetings or small events.
