This is a great place to watch the barges come in and out of the lock. There is a sandy beach area with a lot of neat rocks. I would wear shoes though. Looks like it is used for bonfires and partying. There is plastic bottles and some broken glass around fire pits. There is a nice playground area and public restrooms.
