We were looking for a 2017 Forrester and found one with low mileage at Yark Subaru, 200 miles away from home. The staff at Yark were very easy to work with and we made an appointment to come and buy the car. The car was just as advertised and we bought it. What happened next is why this isn't a 5-star rating. The finance manager badgered me to buy an extended warranty, despite my firm and repeated statements that I wasn't interested. He continued to ignore (not even respond to) my requests to conclude the purchase and offered me a different warranty over and over and over again. I'm 75 - and was tired from the drive there and hungry for lunch. I finally yielded and bought the warranty and drove the car back home, another three hours on the interstate. The next day, I called and complained and the Yark manager canceled the warranty and apologized. The car is terrific, the Yark sales staff were terrific and the experience was good, with that one exception. Just watch yourself when going into the finance managers office to conclude the deal!

We took our 2015 Subaru in for the exhaust recall. While there, they also did a thorough inspection. Problems were detected that we were not aware of. They were in contact with us throughout the process and performed all of the services required, and gave us a loaner for the two days at no cost to us. Always very polite and courteous every time we have taken our vehicle to them.

The financial manager Brett did amazing. He really worked to make sure we got the best price for our car and the lowest interest rates. I would highly recommend these guys for new and used cars.

Jennifer and the rest of the staff at Yark went above and beyond for me. I'm so glad I stopped in and was able to get a car that fits perfectly for me and my family. Everyone was friendly and that helped relieve the car buying stress. Definitely will recommend Yark to all my friends and family.nnUPDATE: it’s been 3 years and I’ve realized the car I was sold was a LEMON . Immediately after I purchased this vehicle I was notified of several recalls this particular vehicle has. Now I turn to Yark or Ford to fix my car or utilize one of the MANY coverages I have that I purchased and paid THOUSANDS of dollars EXTRA into the buy and OF COURSE NO HELP AT ALL everything is expired due to mileage WASTE OF MONEY . Now I’m stuck with a car with transmission issues due to clutch problems that is apart of a lawsuit and everyone’s refusing to fix. Highly do NOT RECOMMEND

The staff here will work with you through anything it seems. the Pandemic, Me buying from out of state, and all the leg work that had to be done with that in mind, was all handled well and professionally at this dealer. I appreciated the steps they took as well to keep things easier on me who had to travel to get the vehicle. In particular I was impressed by their knowledge and how they made sure to tell me about the car and were able to answer any question I had about the features and options. I would buy a car here again.
