I like PF all around because they have always been the cleanest clubs I have been to but the only problem is the mask policy. No one had on masks. They either had them around their chin or not on at all. Unfortunately covid spreads though droplets from breathing in addition to coughs and sneezes so people not wearing masks while huffing and puffing in the gym is a very high risk situation because peoples breath is being forced into the air without a mask. If masks were required the entire time then it would offer some protection and maybe people would be less likely to take them off completely.
There are several cleaning stations provided for us as customers for cleaning machines before and after use. Everyone seems to be cleaning after them selves and maintaining safe distance with or without mask. Thanks planet Fitness for taking the proactive approach for your customers safety...
I signed up for a 1 year non renewable contract. Well it automatically renewed and they give zero refunds. Due to health issues I was never able to establish my membership at all to begin with. Planet fitness billed me faithfully. Renewed the membership without my permission. The personnel were not helpful and actually completely uncaring talking over me on the phone. Never Again!!!!nnUpdate - There is no agreement so no refund! There is a private billing company. So if you cancel before a year you pay a buyout of $58. They will bill a year of maintenance fees in advance and give zero refund on that after a year. This is month to month they do not give refunds. Period! BUYER BE WARE!!!!!
Always nice and clean, just wish they had the treadmills and stuff spaced where if you are working out with someone, you don't have a treadmill between you and your partner
