My new favorite barbecue restaurant. And I drove up from Newark. Pork was excellent, fries were exactly what I wanted, cornbread was surprisingly sweet. Bill recommended the peach sauce for my pulled prom sandwich and he's was 100% right. I also brought some peach cobbler home to back myself and it is TO DIE FOR. Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you haven't yet.
Things were winding down on a Tuesday night as we drove up, but the pit still smelled amazing. They had several different sauces, including peach and blackberry. We tried each, and all were wonderful. The meats were terrific. The sides were all delicious. We'll definitely be back on a weekend, when the menu adds ribs and collard greens.
Great food at a very reasonable price. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
Small sign out front leads to Large flavors inside. Was just driving by and stopped, glad I did. Friendly, fast and good prices. If a place is smoking the meat out front they are proud of their products. If you can't see a smoker keep on trucking.
