Loved my stay at this quaint old inn! Comfy room-- White Pine Room-- and sweet little semi-private courtyard to sit outside and read great books found at local bookstores. Beautiful courtyard gardens and lighting. Friendly and helpful staff, and simple but thoughtful breakfast choices made me want to visit again soon. A secret oasis hidden in this historic friendly town that was very quiet this time of year. Make sure you visit the nearby Ariel Foundation Park and the town Dog Fountain!nThank you, May, Heidi and staff for a delightful relaxing respite!
This is the most excellent of places! The staff is unbelievably friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was home made and perfect.nI don’t have enough good things to say about the establishment and staff.
This was enchanting. Clean comfy room, a glass of wine and trees outside our window that twinkled with lights and snow. The breakfast was a ten star. If you're wanting a relaxing weekend This is the place.
Beautiful and historic family owned and operated Inn in the heart of Mt Vernon. Welcomed with fresh baked cookies and coffee, and walked out to the peaceful courtyard. Within walking distance to Heart of Ohio Trail and downtown Mt Vernon (Local shopping and award winning eatery's like Flapper's). Clean, comfortable rooms and delicious FREE cooked to order breakfast. Onsite parking and plenty of outdoor lighting
Beautiful courtyard. Very warm and welcoming rooms. Decor was absolutely amazing! Staff was super friendly and courteous. Breakfast included was superb. With Covid they gave option of delivery or pickup for breakfast. Rooms were very homey. Definitely will chose this hotel when in the area again.
