Boyd & Wurthmann has been one of my favorite Amish style restaurants, since my first visit many years ago.nThe ambiance is midwestern Main Street diner, with a family run feel and homemade flavor.nThe staff is beyond friendly and always welcoming and polite.nThe portions are large. The entrees are classic - Roast beef, chicken, burgers, etc. The mashed potatoes and gravy taste like Grandma made them and are incredible, but the rest of the sides are more commonplace.nThe pies are out of this world and, though you won't have room for a slice after your meal - make sure to take one for later!
What can I say.... truly exceptional Amish food. Everything is fresh even there mayonnaise. Everything is good here.... I reccomend the roast beef dinner. The sandwiches are large and filling. Save room for dessert.... the pies are truly delicious. Peanut Butter pie yum.... the pastry cream is fresh unlike other places that say its fresh. You Must stop here when visiting. Chow....
We enjoyed our lunch. Very good food. A lot of parking around but can be difficult to find on busy days. There was a wait but it did not take long to get seated. Staff was friendly and prices reasonable. Casual dress, no reservations. No credit cards accepted.
Most amazing food ever! Waitress made sure everything was great. Roast beef mashed potatoes and green beans With carrot cake to go.
Bob Evens better watch out! There is someone new to the pancake game! The wait is a little long but it is definitely worth the wait. To God be the glory.
