Camp Sandusky

AWESOME CAMP SITE! The owner is such a great man! Camp sites are always clean, cabins are clean and its very peaceful at night time! Found this place in the beginning of the summer and have been there almost every weekend since. Very close to cedar point! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! The staff is incredible also, so helpful and truly good hearted people ♡

I stayed here 5 different times this summer through October. Its a nice campground for the price! Well maintained and staffed. I had several conversations with th owner, he is a very friendly and helpful gentleman!! (Trust his food recommendations, I tried three different places he recommended and they were all amazing!)

We stayed in a cabin.nIt was clean, comfortable and spacious.nThe grounds, including the showers were clean.nBreakfast was convenient and delicious.nThe staff...nwelcoming, attentive and readily available.nnI am known to complain often, especially regarding neglectful upkeep.nI have no complaints and look forward to our next visit.

I liked it, though I'm pretty sure the AC unit was undersized given the size and insulation of the cabin. It made it comfortable at night. I just wouldn't plan on a nap during the day in between activities.nnThe staff was friendly and they seemed to have a good selection of things in their little shop.nnAll in all, it was good. Just don't advertise AC when it's really just partially cooled at night. I'd give it a better review, but google doesn't allow partial stars.

Very clean, beautiful grounds. Tons of tall trees for shade and that true camping feeling. Perfect location, with fast food across the street, pizza places willing to deliver, and grocery stores less that ten minutes away. The camp store also had a lot to offer, plus the swimming pool, bike rentals, sand volleyball court and massive playground kept my kids happy the entire time. Very well priced for being so close to all the major attractions. Owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Recommend for families with kids and pets.
